The consequences of visa fraud are very serious, and gives a Special message about U.S visas the U.S Embassy in Dhaka has said. Submitting false information or false documents in a visa application can result in permanent visa cancellation under USA immigration law. This means that the person concerned will never have the opportunity to travel to the United States again.
The U.S Embassy reiterated this information on its official Facebook page on Monday (September 8).
The U.S Embassy in Dhaka has previously issued a stern message to USA visa applicants, stating that those involved in visa fraud will be banned from entering the United States for life.
The announcement stated that if a country’s borders are not secured, it cannot survive as a nation, adding that the U.S government will take steps to prevent visa fraud and illegal immigration in coordination with various agencies. Not only will those involved in visa fraud be banned from entering the United States for life; criminal charges will also be brought against those involved in bringing and harboring illegal immigrants to the United States.
